CHAPTER PRESIDENT

Hi, I’m Ally! I am overjoyed to serve as this year’s Chapter President of TCU Kappa Alpha Theta. I am originally from the northern suburbs of Chicago and found my way to TCU to pursue a degree in Kinesiology (and to escape the cold, of course). When I am not studying for my next anatomy exam, you can find me exploring new coffee shops, walking along the Trinity River, or taking a spontaneous road trip - all with my best friends in Theta! I also serve as the President of the Student Kinesiology Association and hope to attend PT school to later become a pediatric physical therapist. Growing up with one brother, I never could imagine what it would be like to have a sister, that is until I walked into the Kappa Alpha Theta house. The deep-rooted authenticity of each woman in Theta is what encouraged me to become part of an organization that radiates kindness, joy, and sincerity. To be a Theta is to be known, and I am so thankful to have women in my life who see, hear, and love me for who I am. I was once told that great friendships are the glue in life, and I continue to see this truth come to fruition through my sisters in Theta.

To the Potential New Member reading this, I encourage you to seek a sisterhood of women with the attributes you aspire to have. For me, it was the kindhearted, genuine, strong women of Kappa Alpha Theta who loved me exactly as I was. Wherever your recruitment process takes you, know you will always have a friend in Kappa Alpha Theta.
