CHAPTER PRESIDENT

Hi, I’m Grace! I am overjoyed to serve as this year’s Chapter President of TCU Kappa Alpha Theta. I am a third year student from Woodbury, Minnesota, but now find my home in Tampa Bay, Florida. I ventured down to Texas to pursue a degree in Nursing. When I am not studying for my next nursing exam, you can find me exploring new coffee shops, taking a walk around Greek Village with friends, or going to a spontaneous concert – all with my best friends in Theta! I also serve as the President of Dementia Friendly TCU, am a Student Representative in TCU’s Student Government Association, and am a member of various organizations on campus. I do all this with the hope of being an Intensive Care Unit Nurse after my graduation. Kappa Alpha Theta has developed me as a leader, friend, confidant, student, and woman in ways I did not know were possible. Being surrounded by kindhearted, genuine, strong women challenges me each day to emulate my sisters, and I am blessed to be apart of a group of women that I am proud to represent. The deep-rooted authenticity of each woman in Theta is what encouraged me to become part of an organization that radiates kindness, joy, and sincerity. To be a Theta is to be known, and I am so thankful to have women in my life who see, hear, and love me for who I am.

To the Potential New Member reading this, I encourage you to seek a sisterhood of women with the attributes you aspire to have. Look around at the women surrounding you in each house – ask them about their passions, their involvement, and their dreams. Then, ask how their sisters inspire them in these pursuits to become the best versions of themselves. Wherever your recruitment process takes you, know you will always have a friend in Kappa Alpha Theta.
