Hey y’all, I’m Josie Straface and I have the honor of serving as this year’s Vice President  Operations. As you can probably tell by the “y’all,” I’m a born and raised Texan and have been a TCU fan since birth. I’m a journalism and psychology double major with a Spanish minor, which sounds like it makes no sense, but I promise there’s a method to my madness. If I’m not holed up in the Theta chapter room office, I’m most likely at a Pilates class, finding new coffee shops to study at, or chatting with anyone and everyone.

I grew up with two younger sisters, so I had an idea of the joy that sisterhood could bring. I can wholeheartedly say that the women of Theta have shown me that same unconditional love and support. Coming to TCU, I wanted to surround myself with like-minded, loyal women, and the minute I walked into the Theta House, I found everything I was looking for. The authenticity and overwhelming love that filled the room immediately caught my attention and made Theta stand out from every other house. To be a Theta means to be a leader, a role model, and a friend to all, and more than halfway into my journey here, I can confidently say that every member of Theta embodies those qualities wholeheartedly.

TLAM,

Josie <3
