Hey y’all, I’m Josie Straface and I have the honor of serving as this year’s Vice President Administration of TCU Kappa Alpha Theta. As you can probably tell by the “y’all,” I’m a born and raised Texan (Austin) and have been a TCU fan since birth. I’m a journalism and psychology double major on the pre-law track, which sounds like it makes no sense, but I promise there’s a method to my madness. If I’m not holed up in the Moudy South newsroom, I’m doing Pilates at BodyBar, doing homework at the Starbucks on Hulen, or watching movies with my Theta roomies.
Coming to TCU, I wanted to surround myself with like-minded, loyal women, and the minute I walked into the Theta House, I found everything I was looking for. The supportive and loving energy in the room immediately caught my aPen<on and made Theta stand out from every other house. To be a Theta means to be a leader, a role model, and a friend to all, and two years into college, I can confidently say that every member of Theta embodies those qualities wholeheartedly.
All the Theta love and mine,
Josie Straface <3
